In a recent Leptokinetic Therapy session...
A recurring patient presented an intriguing case marked by a divergence from established treatment patterns. Despite previous success in inducing somatic releases, the latest session initially yielded little to no observable somatic releases, prompting a profound moment of insight that defied conventional sensory perceptions and was borderline medical intuition.
Prior to beginning the session, the patient disclosed recent Botox injections, administered to mitigate temporomandibular joint (TMJ) discomfort resulting from a previous injury. “Botox is a neurotoxin that is used to block signals from the nerves to the muscles. As a result, the injected muscles cannot contract” (Botox, Cassoobhoy).
With this information, I took into consideration the neurotoxic effects of Botox, which could potentially inhibit the mind body connection. And after conducting the initial EM sensitivity check, there was a noticeable difference in their capacity to experience somatic releases. This appeared irregular, as over the course of numerous prior sessions, we had repeatedly elicited a diverse array of somatic releases via brainwave cohesion therapies.
As we delved deeper into the session, it became apparent that our usual methods were met with resistance. Despite our best efforts, somatic releases, which had previously come with ease, remained elusive. It was during this moment of uncertainty that a sudden realization dawned on me: acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter responsible for involuntary muscle movement and plays a role in somatic releasing, could hold the key to unlocking our impasse.
With renewed focus, I directed my attention towards targeting acetylcholine through specialized remote healing techniques, leading to a series of remarkable somatic responses. First manifesting as localized twitch responses from the fingers. That eventually rippled through the patient’s body.
After the session, I looked up, “what neurotransmitter does Botox inhibit?” And sure enough, it was acetylcholine and I found that super fascinating. While reflecting on the experience, I couldn’t help but marvel at the interconnectedness of what I observed and the untapped/unlimited potential of extra sensory perceptions.
